In order to create an application, you need to use some kind of programming language which is used to give instructions to the computer - or in the case of Android, the phone or Tablet.
There are a number of languages available, but in this case ( as the title of the blog suggests), I am using the App Game kit ( http://www.appgamekit.com/ ) or AGK, which is the latest product by the Game Creators ( http://www.thegamecreators.com/ ).
AGK is a very new language (it was only released at the back end of 2011) and so is still undergoing changes. The number and variety of commands is quite limited and there are a couple of issues to iron out.
So why this language?
To answer that, I first need to explain why I chose not to use the Standard Android Development Kit. Or more correctly, why I tried and then stopped using it.
